CULINARY MINISTRY

CULINARY MINISTRY MISSION STATEMENT

The scope of the Culinary Ministry is to supervise all persons or ministries who utilize the kitchen and to assure they follow the proper guidelines for food health safety. We also establish and maintain policies and procedures, inventory all supplies, submit a request for funds to the Budget Committee for purchase of needed kitchen equipment and schedule the use of the kitchen for Calvary Baptist ministries.

Every individual operating in the kitchen must be conscientious of their spiritual mission and bring a warm welcome to all with love.

Our values: We believe in giving God our best and to perform our duties as a servant always with excellence, and in doing so God will receive all the glory.

Colossians: 3:23-24

*NOTICE*

Dear Calvary Baptist Church Ministry Leaders:

Effective as of the April 18, 2019 Executive Board Meeting, the Kitchen Committee name has been approved and changed to the Culinary Ministry. The Culinary Ministry of Calvary Baptist believes in giving our best, and serving with excellence, and in doing so, God will receive all the glory.

In moving forward with all ministry requests, we are asking you to give us a (30) thirty-day notification for your event. Once we have received your service request form we will set up a meeting to discuss your event. At that time, please have your menu available. You may send your fillable Service Request form to calvaryculinary@gmail.com. If your ministry wants to shop or cook for your event, you will still be required to submit the fillable service request form to reserve the kitchen.

For your event, we will provide beverage dispensers, platters, decorations or anything other than tableware. You will need to incorporate tableware into your budget, such as tablecloths, eating utensils, napkins and cups. IF you require specific decorations other than what we have in stock, also include them in your budget.

If you require further assistance, please contact Betty T. Ruth, President at (302-332-0402) or Erlinda Colon, Vice President at (302-423-8688).

Thanking you in advance for your cooperation in this matter.

Respectfully submitted,
Betty T. Ruth
Culinary Ministry President
